Apply as often as required to maintain a fragrance strength discernible to insects. Re-apply as you notice the fragrance starts to dissipate. Do not apply anything after the Lavender Insect Repellant (sunscreen, lotion, etc) that might disguise the fragrance of the pure lavender essential oil.
